To clear your Google search history on a Mac, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Google Chrome: Open the Google Chrome browser on your Mac.
  2. Sign into your Google Account: Ensure you are signed in with the Google Account that you use for your searches.
  3. Access History: Click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the browser window to open the menu. From the menu, hover over "History," and then click on "History" in the submenu.
  4. View Browsing History: This will open a new tab showing your browsing history. You can also press Command + Y to directly open the history tab.
  5. Clear Browsing Data: On the left side of the history page, you will see an option labeled "Clear browsing data." Click on it.
  6. Choose Time Range: In the pop-up window, select the time range for which you want to clear the history. If you want to clear all history, choose "All time."
  7. Select Data Types: Check the types of data you want to delete. At least make sure "Browsing history" is selected.
  8. Clear Data: Click on the "Clear data" button to delete the selected browsing data.
This process will clear your Google search history on Google Chrome. If you use other browsers like Safari or Firefox, the steps might be slightly different. Always remember that clearing your browsing history will remove all your saved passwords, so be cautious and ensure you're comfortable with re-entering passwords if needed.
